The Top Employer certificate is bestowed on companies who have high standards in looking after their employees. The certification process takes a year and is conducted based on various studies and thorough audits in which 600 indicators are analysed. The payroll system, benefits offered to employees, work procedures, training and career development, career opportunities and business culture are all examined. The certification process is strictly third-party controlled.

Mart Arro, managing director ofSaint-Gobain Ehitustooted: “The Top Employer title strengthens the reputation of Saint-Gobain as a good employer. Besides compensation, the employees at our companies have an ever-higher regard for modern work conditions, good training and pleasant organizational culture. We are constantly working to make our companies a good place to work, providing enough opportunities for self-realization. If employees are committed and enthusiastic about their jobs, our clients will also be happy!"

Andi Kasak, Saint-Gobain Glass Estonia SE director: “Receiving the Top Employer title was never a goal unto itself for us. A good, secure work environment and support for the personal development of all employees have been the cornerstones of our organizational culture for many years. In this way, we lay the groundwork for the growth of efficiency in our factories – both today and in future. People are dedicated and ready to make an effort for our goals and client satisfaction.”

Dmitri Drajev, director ofOptimera Estonia, the operator firm of Ehituse ABC construction supply centres: “On a competitive market, the client thoroughly weighs where they should shop for the products they need and companies analyse whom to engage in cooperation with. The preferred ones have a keener sense of responsibility. This title gives our clients assurance that we care about our employees. If the employees are happy and feel we are investing in them, they also will serve our clients in excellent fashion.

Steen Vejlgaard, Saint-Gobain Baltic and Nordic region personnel director: “With this certificate, we’ve been officially recognized for the work we do for the good of our employees. The Top Employers Institute certifies its companies all over the world, and they are experts in this area. Thus, we’re not the only ones who think we do good work – we also have confirmation from the Top Employers Institute. We started in Denmark and Sweden and it’s good to see that Finland and Estonian are aboard for the second straight year.

The Top Employers certificate has been awarded to the following Saint-Gobain Estonia companies:
