“The more responsible companies we have, the stronger our country. The state has a very clear role in creating a better entrepreneurial environment and developing a sense of responsibility. Companies must serve as a trailblazer, a role model to the state, when it comes to responsibility," said Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure Kadri Simson, speaking at the gala.
The sustainable enterprise movement, which is gaining popularity worldwide, shows that customers, partners, investors and other market participants are increasingly interested in how trustworthy and transparent corporate activities are.
The label tells us that we are acting in an honest manner and consider the far-reaching effects in our activities. That is a major credit to us all.
Heads of different fields and business units took part in completing the responsible business index survey.
What lies ahead of us? Promoting responsible enterprise topics at our company is of strategic importance. We want to continue on the road we have started and get to the point where every decision made embodies responsibility in the broadest sense, taking into account all of the aspects related to this topic. Naturally, we do harbour hopes of receiving the even higher honour of a gold label – it’s not a goal unto itself but more of a positive reflection on our achievements when it comes to advancing the cause of responsible enterprise.
