A series of six events, Tartu Marathon Kuubik 2017 is over for this year and for us, the result was one to remember.
The athletic employees of Saint-Gobain Glass Estonia SE put in a very solid performance. Although we did not make it to the very top this time, our athletes did move a good deal closer.
The fact that the ski marathon was held this year suited most of our men just fine. Skiing is, after all, one of our fortes. We’re also traditionally strong in running – this time, we finished second place team at the spring Jooksumaraton and third place at the Linnamaraton in autumn. Just like last year, we posted a fifth-place finish at the Rattaralli and the Rattamaraton bike race. Just as in 2016, we took second at the roller-skating marathon Rulluisumaraton and, overall, we repeated last year’s third-place finish overall for all events.
We’re proud that four of our male colleagues placed in the top 20 overall in the Tartu Marathon Kuubik 2017 and that one female colleague was in the top 20 women’s standings.
In past years, we took third place in the Tartu Marathon Kuubik series (2016) and first place (2015).
